We had a great weekend family get away. We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. <br/>Pro-We really appreciate all the kids toys the place has. Our kids enjoyed them. It’s a good place for family with young children. It has a lot to occupy the kids. <br/>Kitchen is fully stocked and very cozy to stay in living area.<br/>Bedroom and bathroom are maintained and good sleeping areas.<br/>Host is super responsive and very quickly answering all our questions. <br/>Con- Being in the forest for outdoor lots of furnitures are not maintained for cleanliness.<br/>We mainly rented the place because of the swimming pool but we had hash reality of visiting during spring time where water is freezing and it cost $299 to heat up the pool and $99 each day to use. It was too much additional cost. If you renting a place for pool take that into consideration.
We loved our stay at Valley of the Moon Winehouse and hope to go back! We stayed with our two kids and in-laws, and it made for a dream mini vacation for everyone.<br/>The house itself is even more beautiful in person than the photos. The main living area is massive, and having the guest cottage for my in-laws was a total game changer. Everyone had their own space, which made for a relaxing visit. The kitchen has everything we needed and we cooked most of our meals in. The kids enjoyed the trampoline, the play area and exploring the grounds. We also played bocce one night which was really fun. We loved the hot tub but didn’t end up heating up the pool. <br/>The grounds are stunning with lots of paths to explore, a gazebo and views in all directions. The restaurants in Glen Ellen are easy to drive to and it wasn't hard to get a reservation. Sophia and the team were responsive and welcoming.
We were here to celebrate my sister's bachelorette. This was the perfect setting to connect with our group and enjoy the nature and peace of Glen Ellen. The house is large and beautiful and has plenty of spaces for guests to relax, sleep, and eat outdoors. Warm days welcomed use of the pool and as it got cooler at night the hot tub was great. The kitchen was well stocked and there was an added touch of fresh flowers from the garden. We truly enjoyed walking around the gorgeous neighborhoods and seeing horses and endless green hills. We even happened upon a hiking trail. It's the perfect location because you can quickly drive into town for treats at the local French bakery, or spend your entire time enjoying the beautiful house and local neighborhood. Just a short walk up the hill on the property and you can see views of the sunset and of more of Glen Ellen. We really enjoyed the many deck areas, even using one for yoga. Hearing the birds and seeing the flowers is a true escape.
